What’s your favorite thing about FASA? The community and the culture! FASA is where I finally was able to have Filipinx friends that were around my own age (and also not relatives) and was a place where I could safely express my culture and upbringing without having to fear judgment. FASA surprises me everyday with how supportive and caring we are of each other, and I think that there's really nothing more Filipino than that sense of community. We are all one family, and connected and rooted by our culture.

It was a good-sized community—not too big, not too small—for me as a freshman and, because everyone has unique experiences in their connection with the Filipinx culture, there is never a boring conversation with anyone here.
